Is the 1-to-1 TEFL course online live or pre-recorded?
It's 100% live. Every class is a real, real-time session with your own dedicated tutor over video call — never a pre-recorded video. That's the core difference between our live online TEFL course and the self-paced courses most providers sell.
What's the difference between a 1-to-1 and a group TEFL course?
In a group course you share a fixed timetable and your tutor's attention with other trainees. In the 1-to-1 course, every class is just you and your trainer, scheduled around you, with the pace and feedback fully personalised to your level and goals.
How long does the 120-hour online TEFL course take?
On the intensive track, around six weeks at three hours a day, Monday to Friday. At your own pace, you can spread it over more weeks to fit work or studies. The total is always 120 hours: 80 hours live plus 20 hours of guided self-study.
Can I start any time, and from any country?
Yes. There are no fixed intakes and no groups to wait for. Once you confirm your place, we match your schedule with a tutor and you can start any week, from anywhere in the world — all you need is a laptop and wifi.
Is the course accredited?
Yes. You earn a 120-hour internationally accredited TEFL certificate, recognised by language schools and online teaching platforms worldwide. You can read more about TEFL accreditation here. It's the same qualification whether you study intensively or at your own pace.
Do I need to be a native speaker or have teaching experience?
No to both. The course is open to native and non-native speakers with a strong (C1+) level of English, and no prior teaching experience is needed. Non-native speakers can prove their level with IELTS 7.0, TOEFL iBT 95–100, or Cambridge CAE/CPE.
Is it online only, or can I study in person in Madrid?
The course is fully online and works perfectly from anywhere. If you happen to be in Madrid, you can add optional in-person sessions at our academy — but it's entirely your choice and never required to complete the course.
How much does it cost and can I pay in instalments?
