Enrollment onto the tefl madrid course is subject to the following terms and conditions.

By proceeding with the payment you agree to the terms and conditions described below:

TEFL Madrid Academy Payment, Refunds, and Terms & Conditions

Payment Installments

The comprehensive fee for the Visa course is €3900 without the activity pack, and €4100 with the activity pack included. These fees are payable in 2 or 3 installments:

  1. Initial Installment (€1,900) – This payment is required to secure your placement and to begin the visa application support process. It covers administrative and legal services, including the issuance of the Letter of Enrollment (Carta de Matrícula), which is necessary for the visa application.
    • This payment is non-refundable as it covers services that are provided immediately upon processing.
    • It must be made at least two months before your consulate appointment to ensure timely document preparation.
    • This payment can be made in two parts, but the visa support process will not begin, and the Carta de Matrícula will not be issued until the full €1,900 amount has been received.
  1. Final Payment (€2000 or €2200) – This must be completed upon visa approval and before departure to Spain, without exceptions.

By making the first payment, students acknowledge and accept these terms.

Payment Methods

TEFL Madrid Academy facilitates the following payment methods:

  • Credit Card via Website or Student Profile App: Payments can be made securely using a credit card either through our website or by using your student profile on our app.
  • Direct Bank Transfer: Free of charge.

All payments are processed in Euros. For bank transfers, your bank will provide the current exchange rate. The PayPal fee is applied due to the high costs associated with PayPal transactions. We offer a cost-free alternative for your convenience. To avoid additional fees, we recommend selecting direct bank transfer.

Deposits

All deposits are non-refundable unless a visa denial occurs due to issues with our accreditation. In such instances, a full refund is issued within 10 working days upon receipt of a consulate’s rejection letter.

Payment Completion

Full payment of course fees is required 15 days before the course begins. Failure to comply may result in being barred from the course until payment is made, potentially necessitating enrollment in a later session and incurring transfer fees.

Cancellation, Transfers, and Withdrawal

  • Students may transfer to a later course date, with a maximum of two transfers allowed.
  • Refunds for the Visa Course are processed only if visa denial is confirmed by the consulate, with official documentation required.
  • TEFL Madrid Academy verifies visa status with the consulate to prevent fraud.
  • A cancellation fee of €300 is charged for administrative costs, with no exceptions.
  • Transfer fees may apply, with no fee for transfers notified 15 or more days in advance and a €100 fee for less notice.
  • For illness or unforeseen circumstances, course transfers are allowed with timely notification to the Director of Studies (DOS). Fees apply for late notifications.

Refunds and Withdrawals

  • Students who withdraw at least three months before the course start date may be eligible for a refund of up to 40% maximum of the total course price.
  • The initial installment (€1,900) is non-refundable, as it covers administrative and legal services that are provided immediately upon processing.
  • Refund eligibility applies only to payments made beyond the initial installment.
  • No refunds will be issued once the visa has been granted or after the student has arrived in Spain.
  • No refunds are available for withdrawals within two months of the course start, but transfers to later courses are permitted

Acceptance Letter

  • No acceptance letters are issued without a €1900 payment.
  • Letters are sent digitally.
  • Postal delivery (can take up to 30 workdays) and express delivery are available at an additional cost.
  • Payment timing affects the posting schedule of acceptance letters.

It is crucial to ensure timely payment to receive your acceptance letter before your consulate appointment.

TEFL Madrid Academy is committed to transparency and fairness in our terms and conditions, ensuring a clear understanding of our payment, refund, and course transfer policies for all students.
